About Pantalone from the commedia dell’Arte

Model by Johann Joachim Kaendler

Pantalone bends in an elegant bow, tilting his body slightly. He rests his arms on his hips, pushing his floor-length black cloak aside to reveal his red stockings, knee breeches, and waistcoat. He also wears a similarly black cap, yellow shoes, and a dagger on the left side. He is placed on a natural base adorned with colorful, applied flowers and leaves.
