About Pair of porcelain boars

J. W. Lanz

A pair of boars, identical in expression and size, with naturalistic coloring and shaping. Both are in mid-leap, with their front legs lifted into the air. The hind legs stand on a gingerbread-shaped base, kept in white and decorated with individual leaf and flower elements. A similarly naturalistic tree stump in the center of the base supports the bodies of the pair.
